MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 383/2 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.28 g, 9 h), Olynthos. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. X-A-Λ-KIΔ-[E]ΩN Kithara with seven strings; all within very shallow incuse square. Robinson & Clement Group H, 28 (this coin, A23/P25). SNG Lockett 1308 (this coin). Beautifully toned and with an excellent pedigree. Slightly granular and with minor scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
